Subject: Heater is Done Date: Fri, 30 Dec 2005 12:07:49 -0500 To: Hello Norbert Writing from Nova Scotia. We moved into the house, it turned out really nice. The heater is fantastic, is works very well. We are having a fire every 36 to 48 hours, it is great. The bake oven is awesome, we have made baked potatoes, bread, rice, used it as a warmer, very cool. I got some sandstone from a quarry in Thornburn, NS, it was the same stone the Art gallery in Halifax was constructed out of. It was quarried off an island in the BAy of Fundy. It is a bird sanctuary and was quarried only once year and years ago. We used it for keystones above the firebox and the bake oven, and for the mantle. It is similar to an oven we saw on your web site. The house was built by Kim Aaboe he did an excellent job, the mason was John Wallace from Chezzetcook, this was the 7th heater he assembled. What do you use to close and open the firebox door when it is hot? Is there a certain poker or handle that fits on the door tongue tab thing at the bottom? Do you have these things? Where do you get these thing if they exsists? I attached a few pictures of the heater. Thanks (signed)
