Colorado M-4 (MHA Fueling Protocol) cribs spruce at 16.1% average moisture.

3.75 lbs kindling + 18.8 lb crib (16.10 % av moisture) + reload w. 16.8 lb crib (16.10% av moisture).
Efficiency is calculated at 95% oxygen recovery (Colorado method).

The batch of 2x4's used for the last 4 tests has been very variable in moisture, both piece to piece,
adjacent pieces cut out of the same stick, and particularly from the surface to the core. A more
detailed description of the matching technique used will follow. This is #1 of the third back-to-back test from the same
batch. Obtaining more uniform
fuel will be the next task.
